Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) courses
Our innovative one day per month CTLLS delivery model meets the needs of busy tutors.
The course is delivered over 6 months and includes: 6 themed training days, guided self study, 3 teaching observations and support with assignments. We have a bespoke Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) to support collaborative and individual learning, and to facilitate the sharing of experience and expertise amongst peers.
We have experience of training tutors who work in a wide range of sectors including colleges, community education, work based learning, police, armed forces, and a cross section of business training and consultancy.
Joan Patterson Associates has been working with City & Guilds teacher training qualifications for the last 10 years. CTLLS is also known as the City and Guild’s 7304.
The Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector is part of the new suite of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) courses which also includes the PTLLS and DTLLS. The CTLLS tutor training course and qualification leads to Associate Teacher Learning and Skills status (ATLS), Licensed Practitioner Status and allows for Professional Formation for tutors in the “associate teaching role”.
Joan Patterson Associates access Skills Funding Agency funding through a partnership with Chesterfield College making for a very affordable package.
We are registered with ELCAS and members of the armed forces can access Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) for the DTLLS course.
